Vegetable and Meat Pizzas

This popular dish of Italian cuisine has circulated the world faster than any other dish of any cuisine. Learn how to make pizza on a stove if oven isn't available.

Vegetable and Meat Pizzas Ingredients: 

  • Refined flour 1 kg
  • Dried milk powder and 

    yeast


     3 tbsp each
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Tomatoes (sliced) 1 kg
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Boneless beef 1/2 kg
  • Ginger/garlic paste 3 tsp
  • Crushed red chillies 1 tsp
  • Tikka spice 2 tsp
  • Salt 3, 1/2 tsp
  • Cheddar cheese 200 gm
  • Mozzarella cheese 200 gm
  • Black olives (sliced) 12
  • Mushrooms (sliced) 6
  • Capsicum (sliced) 3
  • Onions (sliced) 3
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Vegetable and Meat Pizzas Cooking Directions

  1. Mix refined flour, yeast, sugar, 2 tsp salt, eggs and 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Knead into dough with warm water and leave aside for 1/2 an hour.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp oil in pot. Add 1 finely sliced onion and 2 tsp ginger/garlic paste and cook.
  4. when the onion turn white, add sliced tomatoes, cinnamon and salt.
  5. Let them cook. Add a cup of water when the tomatoes soften.
  6. Cook the mixture till tomatoes are tender, then add oregano and take off flame.
  7. Cut the meat into small pieces.
  8. Add 1 tsp ginger/garlic paste, red chillies, tikka spice and 1 tsp salt to the meat and fry it on a flat griddle pan.
  9. Roll out 2 pizza crusts from the dough.
  10. Place them on 2 greased baking pans and spread tomato sauce on them.
  11. Layer one crust with meat pieces and other with vegetables.
  12. Garnish with grated cheese, oregano and soya sauce.
  13. Place in a preheated oven at 200 degree C for 15 minutes.
  14. To make pizzas on a stove, keep pans over low heat and move them continuously.
  15. When the crusts turn golden, cover with a hot griddle pan, when the cheese melts, take it off.
